A report from FIA technical delegate Jo Bauer revealed that the ground put on on each Hamilton’s Mercedes and Leclerc’s Ferrari was discovered to not be in compliance with F1’s technical rules.
The matter has been handed on to the stewards.
“A bodily flooring and a plank put on inspection was carried out on automotive numbers 16 and 44,” Bauer famous.
“The skids positioned within the space -825 ≥ XR ≥ – 1025 are discovered to be not in compliance with Article 3.5.9 e) of the 2023 System One Technical Rules.
“I’m referring this mater to the stewards for his or her consideration.”
Such a problem normally ends in a disqualification.
A Mercedes workforce consultant has been known as earlier than the stewards at 6pm native time (12pm midnight UK).
Ferrari, in the meantime, will go to the stewards quarter-hour later.
